IEEE_MRC Fractional Failure and Its Application in Reliability Engineering Risk Assessment

December 12 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Topic- Fractional Failure and Its Application in Reliability Engineering & Risk Assessment
Speaker: Dr. Mingxiao Jiang
SYNOPSIS
The purpose of this tutorial is to use numerical examples to demonstrate the data analysis for various fractional failure and causality scenarios with the most popular commercial software in the market, such as Weibull++, JMP, and Minitab, for reliability analysis and risk assessment.

OUR SPEAKER:
Dr. Mingxiao Jiang, CRE, received his B.S. degree in Engineering Mechanics from Zhejiang University, M.S. in Reliability Engineering from University of Arizona, and Ph.D. in Mechanics of Materials from Georgia Institute of Technology. He is currently a Technical Fellow and a Senior Principal Reliability Engineer at Medtronic Neuromodulation. He has 3 US patents and over 40 peer reviewed publications in referred journals and conference proceedings. He has been active in reliability societies as a Vice Chair for organization RAMS® (2009 to 2013) and committee members for several international reliability conferences. He has been serving on the Editorial Review Boards for journals of Reliability Review and Quality Engineering.
